10-Year-Old Imported Zangersheide Gelding

This handsome 10-year-old imported Zangersheide has all the pieces to be a standout partner for the right rider. I’ve owned him for the past couple of years, showing him locally from 0.90–1.15m, and he has since been leased to a rider in my barn (lightly shown, well maintained).
Widely regarded as a great Equitation prospect, he’s been praised for his style and scope- Boyd Martin himself commented on his incredible jump. He is brave, honest, and straightforward to the fences, with a naturally quality technique.
He is on the lazy side, so he does best with a rider who will stay consistent with their leg and seat- not a push ride, but very forgiving and uncomplicated once you’re riding him forward.
He truly thrives in a varied program and is happiest when his routine includes diversity and turnout. Currently:
- Nightly turnout
- Trails twice a week
- Schooling 1.20–1.25m at home
An excellent option for an Equitation rider, amateur moving up, or someone looking for a quality, kind horse with real jump and brain.
