Ivar is the full brother to International Olympic GP horse “Jane,” his sire is the renowned Desperado and he is out of a Metall mare. In addition, his bloodlines include the famous stallions Vivaldi, Krack C, Ferro and Havidoff. Ivar is extremely comfortable to ride and correct in the contact. He has a “puppy dog” type personality with people, but can be horse shy in busy arenas. He is suitable for a variety of riders and has more than enough quality to be a competitive CDI horse. Ivar has an extensive show record with both an amateur and a professional, has scored up to 69% at I-1 and has started some of the Grand Prix movements.
