Equivont + Horse Glam

Equivont + Horse Glam

I have owned Pony Glam for a few years now, so I feel like I have a good grasp on the struggles (and joys) of owning a small equestrian business. One of the main reasons I wanted to launch Horse Glam was to help spread the word about small brands like Pony Glam. I had met so many wonderful entrepreneurs that deserved to have their products seen in good lighting and given descriptive reviews, and I wanted to help them.

A few months ago I was approached by Equivont, a new(ish) equestrian marketing company, about including Pony Glam in their online shopping marketplace. The marketplace was to focus on small, unique equestrian brands that the modern equestrian would want to learn more about and inevitably purchase. It is categorized in three sections “Style”, “Wellness” and “Tack”, with each section further broken down into “Horse” and “Rider”. These categories not only make obvious sense but they are easy to navigate. I set up a phone consultation and I really hit it off talking to Equivont cofounder, Jacyln Dunt. Our conversation went all over the place (like it typically does when I really like someone), from horses to life experiences to favorite tv shows to bachelorette parties, etc. I soon realized that Jaclyn, Equivont and I shared the same goal: being a big champion of small businesses.

Equivont is more than an online marketplace. It also has a business directory where you can look up pretty much anything you may need for yourself, your horse or your farm…and even things you don’t know you need. For example, you can find trainers, tack shops, breeders, equestrian businesses services, barn facilities, chiropractors, vets, hauling companies, and tack reps listed, just to name a few. There is even a section where you can view horses for sale or lease from trusted brokers and sales barns worldwide. Many of these listings post which event or show the horses will be at next for easy trial or viewing.

As you can probably guess, Equivont is making a big push to be your one stop equestrian website stop, for both consumers and businesses. With some familiar brand names already listed (and some fellow Horse Glam friends: Bibimbap Skincare, The Fit Equestrian, Myst Equine and Mare Goods), I think they are well on their way. This makes my next sentence even more exciting (although the pictures are giving me away)! As part of the new “Blogger Referral Program”, Equivont and Horse Glam are teaming up to provide YOU with more blog posts and honest reviews of the products seen on the Equivont website. Let me and Chloe test all your horsey products before you part with your hard earned money! If you are a brand and you want to apply for these complimentary reviews, email hello@equivont.com. Actually, even if you don’t want to participate in this referral program but you are a brand that wants help with your marketing and brand awareness, you should still email Equivont. They have effective and affordable marketing packages that can help you launch your brand to the next level. You deserve it!
