Rider Care: First Aid Checklist with Laura Hite

You take care of your horse- don't forget to take care of yourself in the midst of an emergency!

Rider and mom, Laura Hite goes through first aid essentials for any rider's trunk, locker, or car.

Double check your first aid kit for the following:

1. Adhesive, self stick bandages (in lots of sizes!)

2. Scissors

3. Thermometers

4. Anti-septic wipes

5. Tweezers

6. Instant ice pack! (or an adorable horse ice pack for the kiddos)

7. Finger protectors (really to protect that manicure ;) )

8. Disposable gloves

9. Boo Boo Balm

Take it from us, its always better to be over prepared than underprepared when it comes to first aid.
